So what makes the Trip Sound stroller suitcase different from the rest? Speakers, is what. You can blast out your favorite music and upset fellow travelers with this special type of luggage.

The Trip Sound has two 15W speakers built-in its silvery exterior that’s capable of delivering 12 hours of non stop audio gratification. Aside from this distinction there’s ample room inside for the usual travel accoutrements, with a special compartment for a laptop.

Even though the Trip Sound is being marketed for the upscale crowd, we can’t imagine anyone playing their music on this stroller without causing a fuss among nearby travelers, who are often grumpy and jet lagged. It’s especially hard if you’re into AC/DC and all the other fellow plays on their Trip Sound is Lady Gaga (or worse, Ke$ha) full blast. What a nightmare.

The Trip Sound isn’t cheap though and will set you back more than a thousand dollars. Now that’s not nice.

Many years ago, gaming was just all about the graphics – sound took a back seat, but it seems as though things have taken a turn for the better these days, what with modern technology having taken leaps and bounds forward over the past few years. Razer, a company that is famous for its range of gaming peripherals, has rolled out yet another device for the masses who are aligned to the Xbox 360 in the form of the Razer Chimaera 5.1 Wireless Gaming Headset.

This is the latest model which will be able to let you hear all the explosions and gunfire in Halo, not to mention being thrilled by the high octane release of nitro in Need for Speed, or grooving beats on DJ Hero. Surely, the Razer Chimaera is able to kick Xbox gaming immersion into overdrive.

According to Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President Razer USA, “Putting on this headset may cause serious jaw-dropping aural intensity. With the Razer Chimaera 5.1, we’re giving every gamer the opportunity to experience surround sound in complete wireless freedom. We drew from our expertise in PC gaming audio and worked with Dolby to develop a headset that lets you hear everything with absolute clarity to pinpoint enemy locations, prevent backstabs, and just take your gaming enjoyment further. I recommend using it with the Razer Onza controller for serious Xbox ownage.”

There are 5.1 and Stereo editions of the Razer Chimaera, and it is nice to know that both of them are wireless for an added level of freedom for you to hear the destruction of your opponents anywhere. The 5.1 edition is capable of running for up to 8 hours without missing a beat, while the stereo edition will obviously last longer on the scene per charge at 12 hours.

Extra large circumaural ear cups ensure that your Xbox gaming marathons will be able to last the distance without having your ears feel cramped and uncomfortable, and if you find that the unit is starting to run out of juice, all you need to do is hang the headset onto the base station which also doubles up as the audio processing unit, and you’re good to go.

If you happen to have a trio of teammates with you, you are able to locally connect a quartet of Razer base stations for a crystal clear, lag-free, and dedicated voice channel which will certainly go a long way in improving team communication. The Razer Chimaera 5.1 Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox 360 will retail for $199.99/€199.99 as it hits the world this April.

Convergence devices are the rage these days, just put your hand in your pocket and pull out that iPhone of yours. With the apps and accessories going for it, it is much, much more than just a phone. Well, home appliances do some convergence as well, although not as much. Take for instance, the Breville Radio Toaster – the name alone gives the game away, where you can enjoy to your favorite breakfast of toast with marmalade, while tuning in to the wake-up calls of radio DJs on a station of your choice.

Currently up for pre-order, the Breville Radio Toaster will cost you £49.99, but that is a small price to pay considering the wonder that this toaster will invoke whenever you have a guest who stays over at your place in the morning and wakes up to the sweet smell of perfectly toasted bread as well as their favorite artiste singing in the background.

Now, for Breville engineers to go back to the drawing board and include a coffee maker in this puppy for the next iteration. Surely that is not too much to ask, no?

Garmin have unveiled a new tracking device they have added to their line-up called the GTU 10. The GTU 10 is a small, lightweight and waterproof tracker that can be attached to practically anything you would like to know the whereabouts of.

Once enabled and attached to your bag or pet you can view its location via the free Garmin Tracker app for your mobile device, and compare your current location to the direction and location of your GTU 10. Just like James Bond.

If you dont have a mobile handy you can also track the device from the comfort of your computer via Garmin mapping software. Which also gives you the ability to automatically create a route to your GTU 10, using the Garmin nüLink!

The computer software supplied also allows you to create up to 10 geofences (virtual boundaries) for your device. When your GTU 10 enters or exits a geofence, we can send you an email or text message notification and even allows you to track where your GTU 10 device has been.

Apart from the obvious James Bond scenarios the Garmin GTU 10 has been designed to help you track your language while flying to make sure you can recover it if lost, parents to track their children or for runners to update family on their position in races or while on their daily run.

The Garmin GTU 10 is now available to purchase direct from Garmin for $200

Now here’s a device that ought to be a gift to those who have family members that love singing in the shower, although they would never have made it past the audition stage of American Idol. We’re looking at the Water Powered Shower Radio, and as the name suggests, you need not burden your monthly power bill with this, and the other advantage would be to have its audio content drown out the voice of the one singing.

This is one radio that’s going to make waves in bathrooms across the country, and will ship only at the end of March for £34.95. Now, if only someone could figure out a similar principle and have vehicles run on water instead of gas.

Using the Water Powered Shower Radio is a snap, and installation does not require a rocket science degree. All you need to do is fit the radio in line with your shower hose, where water that flows through will power the H2O micro turbine that in turn drives a generator which produces energy.

Powermat is releasing a windshield-mounted, wireless car charger later this year, according to CNET. The charger can adjust to fit any of the phone types that Powermat supports, so it could be great for cars with multiple drivers, or drivers with multiple phones, since people will not need to keep multiple car chargers in the car.

It does plug into the cigarette lighter, so it doesn’ t look all that different from a standard car charging system, but since the charger mounts on the windshield, it puts the phone more at eye level for easier access to navigation apps. For every smartphone you want to charge, you will need to purchase a Powermat Battery Door separately ($19-$29).

Powermat will be releasing other wireless charging products for the home and office in 2011, such as a rechargeable backup battery and a rechargeable travel mat. They are also marketing a line of Powermat integrated furniture, like tables, that we may see in airports or cafes (Starbucks?). The wireless car charger is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2011, and will sell for $59.

At first glance you’re prone to mistake the Powertrekk for a game controller—an ugly game controller. But it’s not. As depicted by the evidence below, it’s the ultimate gadget charger for any possible gadget (provided the gadget has a USB port.)

Powertrekk is designed and built for the outdoors, which explains its hydrogen fuel cell coupled with a battery pack. The sweet part is both can charge each other, meaning this baby can juice a lot of your gadgets. The Powertrekk would probably be a life saver if you’re the type of person who falls into a crevasse and gets their hand stuck under a rock. Worse, your precious iPhone is out of juice so out comes the Powertrekk and ta-da!

Okay, so maybe James Franco does deserve critical acliam for his role in 127 Hours. Movies aside, Powertrekk is a must for the gadget-inclined who move around a lot with their essential electronics.

Despite its attractive qualities, there’s no word on pricing yet.

With the economy not being at its best at the moment, it makes perfect sense if you were to do your best to save up wherever and whenever you can, and Cisco has stepped in to help you do just that with their very own coin collector and counter known as the Digi-Piggy. Yup, this is no porcelain porker that needs to be thrown onto the ground or struck with a hammer in order to get to the goodies inside when you need a little bit extra dough at that moment in time.

The pig’s snout itself will feature an innovative digital readout, where Digi-Piggy is alert enough to count all American coins while making sure that a running total is kept, regardless of the order or the value of the coins inserted. Sounds like the perfect tool for little ones to start learning on the value of money as well as instilling such a discipline in their lives.

Of course, college students might also pick up a Digi-Piggy for themselves since it is the perfect fodder for those who pay plenty of visits to the nearest Laundromat or are a huge fan of vending machines that require coins. Of course, those who frequent arcades or have to feed parking meters on a regular basis would do well to bring home the Digi-Piggy.

So far, we do know that Cisco intends for the Digi-Piggy to hit the market sometime in the third quarter of the year, where it will be available via major chains including Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath and Beyond and others. Made out of highly-durable plastic, the Digi-Piggy is destined for longevity, functionality and safety. Accessing your savings is a snap with its twist-off lid, and too bad we do not know just how much something like this will cost just yet. As long as it helps us save money, we guess, and hopefully the Return On Investment will happen sooner rather than later.
