The LG Star is capable of handling HD videos, and equipped with an HDMI output for you to playback video on large HD screen. Currently, the handset is running Android 2.2 Froyo but it definitely has the capability to run Android 2.3 Gingebread comfortably. The iPhone does a lot, but it doesn’t have it’s own printer. Wait, now it does.

The Bolle BP-10 is a photo printer dedicated to the iPhone that can print 4″x6″ photos from single, or multiple images. You control the printer with an app that Bolle has created, which can be downloaded for free from the App Store.

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve sat in front of my computer trying to pay my electric bill and a few credit cards and realize with horror that it’s due by midnight, it’s 11:59 and I can’t remember the password.

Some sites require a capital letter and at least one number and others do not, so my brilliant, albeit, not very secure idea of just using the same darn password for everything has come back to haunt me more than it has helped.

Available on November 19th is the Password Memory Keeper, a little handheld device that easily fits in your pocket or purse that lets you store your usernames, PIN numbers and passwords for up to 50 accounts. I like it better than the numerous downloads available to keep track of passwords, because I never know what computer I’ll be using in order to take care of business. With the Password Memory Keeper on hand, I can take care of my bills anytime, anywhere.

All I am required to remember is one password and I have access to everything I will ever need. Battery operated and secure I can get rid of the 40 post-its I have all over my desk with passwords scribbled on them. For only $29.50 from Frontgate. Excellent!

If you have got tired of the first generation of portable cell phone jammers and want to be able to do some GPS jamming instead, this is your lucky day (and not so lucky for others).

Anti-Phone: Transmitting low power radio signals to cut off communications between cell towers and any cell phones in the proximity, this Cell Phone Jammer completely shuts down any GSM and DCS mobile phone signals within a 10 meter radius.

Anti-GPS: Worried someone has intentionally installed a GPS tracker somewhere in (or under) your car to track all your movements? It’s more likely than you think, but now worry no more because this jammer offers a perfect 10 meter radius of GPS jamming, ensuring your privacy no matter where you go or how large your vehicle is.

The Portable GPS and Cell Phone Jammer (GSM, DCS, GPS) is sold through the Chinavasion website with a retail price starting at about $36 USD.

Smartphones make great navigation devices (where still allowed by law), but trying to read the things while they slide about on the dash or peek out of a cupholder is hardly ideal.

Universal windshield holders help, but none are as smart as the Parrot’s latest. How smart is it? Why, it’s right there in the title. The Minikit Smart will hold smartphones “whatever their size” — so long as that size is between 56 and 70mm in width. It has an integrated speaker and telescoping microphone that connects to your phone over Bluetooth, boosting your celly’s paltry internal speaker so that you can better hear directions and, of course, make hands-free calls. There’s also a USB pass-through, so that you can not only charge this unit while driving but charge your phone. Imagine how happy and secure your phone would feel when being spooned like this, but at $129 it had better be over the moon.

Adafruit Industries has decided that there will be a $2,000 bounty for the first person who manages to come up with an open-source Kinect driver. After all, an Adafruit employee did mention to CNET that Kinect is “amazing hardware that shouldn’t just be locked up for Xbox 360.

Its ‘radar camera’ being able to get video and distance as a sensor input from commodity hardware is huge.” Basically, the bounty of $2,000 can be shared amongst a group if it is a collective effort, or spent by just someone, as long as the open-source driver is uploaded alongside examples to open-source codesharing site GitHub. Microsoft execs certainly won’t be smiling with this news, but it might help them achieve the 5 million unit sales target as hackers start purchasing it to win that delicious prize.
