Google has released another version of its popular application Google Earth – this time it supports iPhone. Now you can not only enjoy a satellite photo of Earth on your phone, but also make it three-dimensional, just tilting your iPhone. It seems that iPhone OpenGL graphics is the best suited for such high-quality applications like Google Earth.
Google Earth can be downloaded directly to your iPhone (2G or 3G) for free from Apple AppStore.

By enabling application, you will see a view of Earth from orbit. To approach simply double-click on the screen, or use iPhone-through sign-known teams. Manipulate virtual card using the touch interface as simple and familiar, like its relatives for PC. In order to rotate the map, you can simply drag your finger across the screen.
Location can be defined by using GPS, and with the help of cell phone towers. You can also search for places of interest to you. And, finally, you can always see where north is on the map, simply by clicking on the compass in the upper right corner.
Google Earth Maps pleasantly different from the fact that they are built with Panoramio photos and articles from Wikipedia. If you are searching for a location that is tied or otherwise, you always know it by a pretty icon.
