Can I record TV shows without a TV tuner card and a computer, and without a VCR? Today I discovered at least one new way of recording (and playing, by the way, too), after learning about a gadget called iRecorder.
iRecorder positioned as a device can record video from TV and transfer it to iPod (iPhone and iPod Touch are not supported). This recording will take one gigabyte memory for 3 hours of video. What is even more interesting, iRecorder can also play recorded video on the TV screen and be connected to almost any device that is able to work with USB and Mpeg4 video format.
Based on the functional gadget, I would rather call it a modern VCR than an adapter for iPod. By the way, iRecorder also has a remote control.
The price of this gadget is about $186.
