Mobile phone Samsung M8800, which has a full touch control and 8-megapixel camera was announced without much fanfare. Despite the fact that its predecessor runs Symbian Samsung i8510 INNOV8, this phone is not a smartphone. It has no keyboard, but instead it has 3.5-inch touch screen. The device operates under the TouchWiz interface, which is similar to Samsung Omnia and Samsung F480 Tocco.

Yes, this is not a smartphone, but a set of its functions can hardly be called frugal:
- Quadband GSM, Tri-band HSDPA
- 107.9 × 54.6 × 14.9mm, 110 g
- 3.2-inch touchscreen display (240 x 400 pixels)
- 8-megapixel camera, auto focus, smile detection feature and Blink, WDR, ASR, binding to the location using GPS, ISO 1600, WVGA (720 × 480 pixels) and VGA (640 x 480 pixels)
- Integrated GPS-receiver
- Accelerometer
- DivX Player
- FM-radio with RDS
- Expansion Slot microSD
- Bluetooth
- Virtual QWERTY Keyboard
- Handwriting recognition function
- Support for Office documents
Unfortunately, due to the lack of Wi-Fi, Samsung M8800 is unlikely to stand up against LG KC910 Renoir. Price of this novelty is $800.
