Mio Leap K1

During Computex 2008, Mio introduced a new phone Leap K1, which has a built-in GPS and two screens. Like Samsung F300, Leap K1 has a small screen with a usual mobile interface, while the other is much bigger for GPS navigation and multimedia.

Mio Leap K1 has a built-in 20 channel GPS receiver and installed software MioMap 2008. MioMap 2008 starts with the help of the large screen, depending on how it supports the movement of a vehicle and pedestrian modes. Maps are stored on the microSD.
Unlike Samsung F300, this phone has a removable battery, as well as a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, 2,5 mm audio input and miniUSB.

Company Samsung has not yet announced its new model i7110 smart phone made on a platform of latest Symbian S60 UI with FP2. But the information about its 5-megapixel camera and great multimedia capabilities already appeared in August.

Almost at the same Samsung S3600 phone for middle class buyers was announced. It is made with the same style decision as Samsung G400, but it differs from its reduced functionality.

Samsung i7110 has an 2.6-inch display that supports 16 million colors, accelerometer in order to automatically rotate the image on the screen, GPS-receiver, FM-receiver, an optical joystick, and, of course, the 5-megapixel camera with two LEDs flash. Smartphone works with GSM, 3G networks with HSDPA, Wi-Fi with DLNA and excellently reads video formats, DivX and XviD.

The official announcement of a smart phone will be held this month.

But the only advantage of Samsung S3600 is its design. The phone is made in a metal shell; it has a display of 2.2 inches diagonally with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and can display 65 thousand colors. Integrated memory is 30MB, but there is a microSD memory slot, extending it to 2GB. It has Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, and FM-receiver.

This smart phone will cost about $110.

This is a new gadget from Bug Labs manufacturer. This is not just a telephone, but a workstation, personal computer, to which you can attach all necessary peripherals.

The zest of the gadget is its design. It is easy to attach other devices to the basic module, depending on what you want to use.

Basic module, called Bugbase, is a worthy miniature computer with the operating system Linux, equipped with a processor, 128 MB RAM internal memory, the receiver Wi-Fi 802.11b / g and a small monochrome LCD display.

In the front side of the device there is a connector for two removable modules. There are four of these modules. This is a large color touch-sensitive LCD-display, camera, motion sensor and GPS-receiver.

Nothing is announced about this gadget’s price.
