During the Computex trade show in Taipei on Monday, ViewSonic officially took the wraps off of its ViewPad 7x Android tablet. We had heard mumblings of the device earlier this month, but now we know all of the ins and outs of the tablet: it runs Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb, is powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, has HSPA+ connectivity, an HDMI-out port, rear and front facing cameras, and a 7-inch LED display with a 1024 x 600 resolution.

We hope ViewSonic has plans to update the 7x to Google’s newer Android 3.1 operating system once it launches, but it’s not clear if that’s in the works right now. ViewSonic has not yet announced details on pricing or revealed a launch date, either. Hit the jump for the full release.

Samsung i7110 is another smart phone on Symbian platform, which has a 5 megapixel camera and a wide range of multimedia capabilities.
This is not the first information about Samsung i7110, rumors about it appeared in August, but this time we have its picture and know a little more about its characteristics.
At the same time, Samsung announced a mid-range phone – Samsung S3600, which resembles design from Samsung G400, but performs only the simplest functions without external screen.

Working on the latest Symbian S60 UI with FP2, Samsung i7110 supports GSM, 3G with HSDPA, navigation with an optical joystick, 2.6-inch display that displays 16 million colors, an accelerometer to automatically rotate the image on the screen, 5 megapixel camera with two LEDs, Wi-Fi with DLNA, video support for DivX and XviD, GPS-receiver and FM-radio.
Now we should only wait for the official announcement of this smartphone.
And a few words about Samsung S3600. This model has an excellent design. In a metal shell the place for the external display was not found, but the main screen is quite large – 2.2-inch display 65 thousand colors with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.
Samsung S3600 supports GSM / EDGE, has Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, and FM-radio with RDS support and the ability to record from the air. Internal memory is 30MB, but it can be expanded up to 2GB with memory expansion slot microSD.
Unfortunately, it is still unknown when Samsung S3600 will appear in stores, but its estimated cost is about $110.

Video conferences are not a novelty, and even video chat with friends is quite usual. Many webcams compete in the market, and producers need to add new abilities or features to their products in order to win the hearts of consumers. And another interesting attempt we can observe in the shop Brando.

The new webcam is a mirror framed with LEDs. Apparently, in the first place it is for those who want to follow their appearance in the broadcast.
On the other hand, the camera is hidden behind the mirror, and therefore it is invisible.

Camera has resolution of 1.3 megapixels, it supports the rotation of the lens to improve image, it is framed by 24 LEDs connected to the USB port and can work without additional drivers from Windows XP and Vista.

You can buy this gadget for $79.

We often write about gadgets with a combination of several functions.
Webcam from Brando has gathered the four most requested features for gadgets that are connected to USB: a lamp, fan, camera and microphone.
The main gadget is a webcam, which allows to organize video and just record video. Naturally, the microphone is also present. In order to record in bad lighting there are located LEDs around the camera. Well, in order not to make the process of shooting a torture – it has a brightness control. You can use LEDs just as a lamp. Apparently, connected with global warming, the developers added a fan.
You can buy this gadget for $23

According to the saying, good morning is very rare. But we have to wake up every day and if it is a working day – it is better not to delay this process. Of course, in this case we need an alarm clock. And although now they are built into almost all gadgets, it is unlikely that they can be as effective as a rocket. So let’s see.

This is an alarm clock, made in the form of rockets. And when it comes time to wake up, you hear not just a sound of the alarm, but a countdown. Blinking red LEDs, the rocket will tell you that before taking off has remained 10, 9, 8…
And if you do not wake up and do not disable the alarm clock – the start will take place. After that nasty voice the alarm clock can be disabled, only returning it in its place. But do not worry for the furniture. First you can “check” in advance where the rocket launches, and secondly its nose is made of a soft material to reduce possible damage from falling, say on the owner’s favorite notebook.
For the efficiency it is desirable to place this alarm clock outside the zone to which you can reach out your hand from the bed.
You can buy this gadget for about $29.

How many gadgets in your house use standard AA batteries? Surely you can find at least several. And if the gadget is used frequently, then sooner or later you’ll have the idea that it is time to buy rechargeable batteries and a charger for them. But with new batteries from ChinaVision they may not be necessary.

These batteries can be recharged from a regular USB port. In order to charge the battery you need to remove the cover and connect the battery to the port. During charging a blue LED blinks, which ceases to give signals as the battery is charged.
Just as one-two-three, but that’s the price leaves much to be desired. If you buy up to 10 pieces each battery will cost you $20.40.
