This new gadget from Yamaha is designed primarily for recording audio. Unfortunately, it still cannot replace a full-fledged studio, but it is difficult to be called a usual voice recorder.

Pocketrak 2G with its modest size (34,2 mm x 119,5 mm x 13mm) and weight (49 grams) is very functional.
Stylish recorder is equipped with two gigabytes of internal memory and can record audio in PCM format and MP3, has a built-in speaker and highly sensitive microphones. This is quite sufficient for recording from 3 (best quality) up to 284 (lowest quality) hours. At the same time it works only on one AAA battery. It is enough to record / playback audio from 6 up to 25 hours, depending on the use of dynamics and sound quality.
Variable speed of playback and the ability to connect to a PC via a standard USB connector only adds convenience to this gadget.
The price of this gadget is $349.95.

Portable Cowon A3 media players have come to replace outdated A2. It differs from its predecessor with design and high specifications.
The new device has an installed 4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800×480, showing 16 700 000 colors, it has a built-in radiorecorder, FM-radio and voice recorder.

Cowon A3 supports a large number of formats, including: the formats AVI, XviD, DivX, ASF, MP4, MKV, VOB, WMV 7, OGM, MPEG, H.264, DAT, audio MP3, FLAC, WMA, OGG FLAC, OGG Vorbis, Apple Lossless, AAC / AAC +, AC3, True Audio, MusePack, Monkey’s Audio, WavPack, G.726, PCM; image formats JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF, RAW. Video, the device plays at a speed of 30fps and a maximum resolution of 1280×720, and record it with a resolution of 720×480. Also supports many sub-formats.
