New CrunchPad Tablet Notebook

A new version of the prototype of one of the most anticipated projects has been released. CrunchPad «pill» photos and video, which demonstrate some features of the notebook are already in the Internet. The creators promise that fully functional prototype will be tested in a few weeks. We want to remind you that CrunchPad is based on an Intel Atom processor and has 12-inch touch screen, operational gigabytes and 4 gigabytes of internal memory, camera and a USB-port.

Software components: operating system is based on Linux and a browser is based on Webkit. The browser opens immediately while loading the notebook, there is no desktop itself. In the new version of the prototype the developers have moved from the plastic shell to aluminum. This will increase its price, but the board will be thinner – it will have the thickness of 18 millimeters. The creators promise to give more information in July. It is possible that this will be a full presentation of CrunchPad.
